INFORMATION REGARDING THE PROCEDURE OF GETTING HEARING AIDS IN OUR CLINIC.

NO Referral REQUIRED.

     

  1. Payment for the hearing aid can be made by certified cheque, in cash, master card, visa, or interact.
  2.  

  3. If a patient is under the Social Services, ODSP, IHF or WSIB program, we will submit the documents directly to those institutions on the patience behalf and apply for authorization for new hearing aids and accessories.
  4.  

  5. If a patient has insurance coverage, depending on the insurance company, it will either be billed directly from our clinic or the patient will need to pay the upfront costs and then he/she will need to contact their insurance company for reimbursement.
  6.  

  7. Every patient has a trial period of 90 days, the hearing device may be returned.
  8.  

  9. After two weeks from the date of receiving the hearing aid, the patient will be asked to return to our clinic for a general follow up.
  10.  

  11. Usually, new hearing aids have 2 or 3 years of manufacturer warranty and 1 to 2 years of loss and damage warranty.
